Meet the lady who created us:
Pauline Sexton

Hi Friends,

Thank you for stopping by to learn what GIWI Kids are all about.

Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I love learning and you could call me a bookaholic.
Trails I stroll along include a number of areas.  You might find me laughing from a crazy comedy,
jotting down notes about health & nutrition, highlighting paragraphs concerning faith & finances,
or just enjoying a fascinating biography. There’s no lack of choices for whatever your interests.

My first career was as a Middle School Math & Science teacher and later I taught all subjects K-6.

I grew up in the midwest. Church, school, camp and family vacations were a constant foundation.
Some of my favorite memories include going down the street with my best friend to buy mint chip ice cream and then sitting on our front steps talking for hours.  Another one was having water balloon fights with my brother and his pals and getting soaked to the bone. In warmer weather we would build tree houses or play softball in the neighbors yard. In the winter time we’d skate on the ice of the frozen local pond.

You could say I’m just an average girl from middle America.

You’ll find more in the PARENTS link, which is where I blog and share as we grow together.
These GIWI characters were just a thought in my imagination a few years ago and now here they are in living color.

MARGIE is a very inquizative young girl.
MEASURE is an curious inch worm.
TRUMPETER is an expressive elephant.
BEAR FRUIT is a thoughtful bear (of course).
They are each curious about so many things in life.

I want to create a safe space for kids, because there are so many other outside influences.
My prayer is that GIWI Kids will take them on a journey that sparks ideas and imaginations in wonderful ways.

And I hope it does in all ages of our readers, whoever that may be.
